Health Research Associate

The Institute for Medicaid Innovation offers health research associate opportunities for junior and senior level researchers.  Health Research Associates lead initiatives aligned with the Institute’s focus on Medicaid health services research and priority topics of women’s, children’s, and behavioral health.   Additionally, this opportunity encourages exploration of individual areas of interest that intersect clinical practice, research, and policy in Medicaid.  All Health Research Associates are supported in their efforts to maintain academic (dry) appointments and clinical practice.

Research Assistant

The Institute for Medicaid Innovation offers research assistant opportunities for those with bachelors and masters degrees. Research Assistants provide support on research projects related to Medicaid managed care, health disparities, and vulnerable populations. Additionally, this opportunity will provide an opportunity to learn about the Medicaid program, variation across states, and the development and implementation of evidence based policy.

Summer Intern

The Institute for Medicaid Innovation offers internship opportunities to undergraduate and master level students and recent graduates. Interns work on a variety of projects focused on Medicaid managed care, disparities, and vulnerable populations. Based on individual goals and interest areas, each internship is a unique experience.

Policy & Research Fellow

The Institute for Medicaid Innovation offers fellowship opportunities to masters and doctoral level students and junior clinical and research faculty. Fellows lead and provide support on research and quality improvement projects related to Medicaid managed care, health disparities, and vulnerable populations. Additionally, opportunities exist to work specifically on questionnaire development, testing, database development/cleaning, and analysis. An emphasis is placed on ensuring that all fellows are able to focus on their areas of interest while intersecting clinical practice, research, and policy.
