Lisa Hollier, MD, MPH, FACOG, is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Director of the Division of Women’s Health Law and Policy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas; Chief Medical Officer of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Texas Children’s Health Plan; and the Medical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Texas Children’s Health Plan’s new medical home initiative, The Centers for Children and Women. She currently serves on the Texas Health and Human Services Commission Perinatal Advisory Council which oversees the development of standards and accreditation of neonatal and maternity care in Texas and is the Chair of the Department of State Health Service Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Task Force.

She is a contributing author for several national guidelines, including the Center for Disease Control’s Sexually Transmitted Disease Treatment Guidelines and the recently released “Maternal Levels of Care.” She received her MD from Tulane University School of Medicine and MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School, both in Dallas.
